Rallet was financed by Chiris of Grasse
Rallet was financed, or a subsidiary, of Chiris. Interestingly, Coty, having learned some perfumery by studying with Chiris, made deals to have Chiris distribute his products in both France and Russia.
Also of interest, there have been suggestions that when Ernest Beaux left Russia and emigrated to France, Coty was one of the people (or companies) that he tried to forge a relationship with, prior to getting involved with Chanel and the Wertheimers.
