The Perfume Maker's Club was established to provide independent perfume makers and marketers (like ourselves!) with professional sources of materials, services, and information. The collection of sources and information available in the Club's "members only" pages was developed by us out of our own need to find "the right" materials, services, and information for our own perfume development projects. Many of the companies listed in the "Vendors" pages of the Club offer direct online ordering. Some require telephone contact. (Some listed vendors of essential oils and aroma chemicals — which might pose dangers through misuse — require that you establish your credentials with them before they will fill your order.)
In addition to sources of supply — everything you need to make commercial level perfume — you'll find some very useful information on perfumery, classic 19th century perfume, toiletries, and cosmetics formulas, and sources and processing of natural aroma materials (Piesse) as well as a classical guide to 20th century perfume making based on knowledge of raw materials alone, without reference to chemistry (Carles). These texts are available free to members in the form of electronic pdf downloads.

The resources available to Perfume Maker's Club members expand from month to month. Sources are added as we discover them, sometimes at trade shows; sometimes elsewhere, sometimes by accident; sometimes when we are searching for help with a project of our own. While many of the listed resources have websites, these websites are often very, very difficult to locate unless you are lucky enough to happen upon the right keyword — or unless someone tells you where to find them. Many of the most important perfume-related websites are not, and probably never will be, optimized for the search engines.
